I was born and raised in Mexico City and moved to Fresno when I was 19 years old. I was blessed to go to a school that taught me English starting in preschool and then had the opportunity to practice the language when I was a high-school exchange student in Canada. Ever since I came to this country, I have been interpreting informally for Limited English Speakers. After more than 30 years of running my own janitorial and carpet cleaning business, I decided to go back to school and get certified in Medical Interpreting and fell in love with it. My passions are cooking, reading, learning about nutrition, spending time with my friends and family, traveling, and love to be close to the ocean every chance I get.
