Practicum Student
I completed my bachelor’s at the University of California, Santa Cruz where I received a degree in Psychology with a minor in Legal Studies. During my time in Santa Cruz, I worked in the Gender and Sexuality Lab studying under-served communities of people with diverse sexualities and gender identities. I am currently pursuing a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University, Fresno.
My goal is to help people heal and pursue their goals in ways that are best for them. I believe that therapy and treatment are more effective when they take into account the individual's unique identities, characteristics, and interests.
On the weekends I am the lead singer in an 80s rock band, where I sing songs from bands like Heart, Journey, and AC/DC. I also love animals. I enjoy cuddling and playing with my dog Annie and riding my horse Dijon (yes, like the mustard). My phone is full of photos of my furry friends. In my free time, I like to read, watch action movies, and paint my nails.
